GRIEF AND LOSS

Loss and sadness are part of the fabric of life and every relationship. Every wonderful part of our lives, every job, and even our health is lost to us eventually. But some losses are harder to bear than others. Those of us who have early losses or other early trauma are often especially challenged by later losses in life. Traumatic losses also often cause more complicated grief.

Childbearing losses, the death of a child or a spouse, divorce, chronic illnesses and disability are common examples of losses. Death and experiences that feel like death evoke feelings of sadness, anxiety, guilt, and anger. I will provide a space for you to experiencing the depth of your feelings in your own time. My hope is that you will move toward a feeling of peace and acceptance, and a new sense of yourself, which incorporates the value of who, and what, you have loved.
